Student Engineer of the Year |
Entry Criteria |
| Students can nominate themselves but must provide contact details of their Head of Department or Senior Tutor.
Entrant must be either full- or part-time student, under-graduate or post-graduate, at a university or college in a European country. Students in the full range of electronics related disciplines including hardware, software, manufacturing and test will be eligible. |
Judging |
| The panel of judges will consider academic, personal and practical engineering achievements of entrants so details of these should be included in the entry citation. Academic achievements are expected to include examples of course projects, representative course grades (only if available and are not imperative). Personal achievements may include hobbies and other related activities which are not directly part of the academic course. Practical achievements are expected to include examples of project work carried out with a company or as part of the university course. |
Terms and conditions |
| Electronics Weekly will provide 2 complimentary Elektra Awards tickets for each shortlisted student to attend the event. In addition, Electronics Weekly will arrange for one night’s accommodation in a London hotel for each shortlisted student (to be chosen by Electronics Weekly). No other expenses will be covered by Electronics Weekly. |
