Appointed Chairman of (afdec) in 2005 Fletcher led the organisations transition to support electronic components ‘from cradle to grave and then re-birth’ within the Electronic Components Supply Network (ecsn). Fletcher was appointed Chairman of the International Distribution of Electronics Association (IDEA) in 2011 and supported with the formation of the Russian and Chinese electronic components industry associations.
With deep cultural exposure to business practice and process in Europe, USA and Japan, Fletcher has created, developed, managed and led, large multi-disciplined teams and organisations with sales revenues > $100M+pa. Converting complex technical innovation into repeatable, scalable business models with clear goal definition combined with “hands on” execution, enabled him to achieve agreed deliverables and objectives. His strategy is to engage and communicate effectively across organisational boundaries, via complex multi-level negotiations whilst seeking successful outcomes for all parties.
