Calum is a Network Systems Engineer at Drax Power Ltd., the largest dispatchable renewable power station in the UK. With expertise in IT and industrial OT environment management including PLC’s, networks, firewalls, HMI’s, Servers & workstations used by critical systems, he will be involved in ensuring renewable energy supply to the UK following the latest BECCS Plant implementation at the Selby site. Prior to this role, Calum worked as the Process Engineering Manager for Nestle UK&I for nearly 10 years. In this role, he was responsible for ensuring factory production processes were as efficient as possible by leveraging the latest technology in SCADA and MES systems and lead projects to harness the power of bespoke digital capabilities and solutions in proprietary manufacturing and operations technology covering all functions of a modern connected factory
